Child Pages Block

The Child Pages block displays pages nested beneath the current page.

It uses the same general visual style as the Table of Contents block, but lists related pages instead of headings from the current page.

Adding the block

The Child Pages block can be inserted from the editor toolbar or through the slash command menu.

Once added, the block automatically displays child pages belonging to the current page.

Displaying nested content

Child pages are listed in the same order used by the space navigation.

Where child pages have their own nested pages, those levels are also displayed within the block.

This creates a structured view of the page hierarchy without requiring the links to be added manually.

The block respects page permissions. Pages that are not available to the current reader are not displayed.

This allows the same Child Pages block to be used across documentation with different access levels while only showing content that can be viewed.
