Images

Images can be added to Docvora pages from a local file or from an external image URL.

Adding images

Images can be inserted in several ways:

• Uploading a file from the editor toolbar

• Inserting an external image URL from the toolbar

• Dragging and dropping an image into the editor

• Using the slash command menu to upload an image

Docvora does not currently provide a reusable media library, so images are added directly to the page when required.

Common web image formats are supported and there is no fixed upload size limit.

Uploaded images are processed and optimised in the background before being displayed.

Image sizing

After an image is inserted, it can be resized using the control in the bottom right corner of the image.

The editor stores image sizing as a percentage so the image remains consistent across different screen sizes.

The aspect ratio is preserved automatically while resizing.

An image can be expanded to the full available content width by dragging it to that size.

Image alignment options are not currently available.

Image preview

Selecting an image on a published page opens it in a larger preview.

Alt text

Alt text cannot currently be entered manually.

For uploaded images, Docvora uses the file name as the image alt text in the background.

Manual alt text support is planned for a future update.

Captions

Image captions are not currently supported.
