Reading Time

Reading time provides an estimate of how long a page may take to read and can be seen on any page under the title.

It is displayed automatically at the top of published pages alongside the editor name and publication date. Reading time is enabled automatically for pages and cannot currently be disabled.

It is part of the standard page information and does not need to be inserted through the editor or added as a content block.

How reading time is calculated

Docvora calculates reading time using the total word count of the page and an average reading speed measured in words per minute.

The value is recalculated when the page is saved or published so it reflects the current page content.
